98 Coal Bunker

Description

This is a used metal coal bunker that is in very good to excellent condition that is mostly original. The roof is a repro. One of the ends under the roof was bent so there’s a crease along the end by the window. This coal bunker has no conveyor or receiving bin but was loaded manually through a chute on the back. A solenoid operated trap door allowed the coal to be unloaded. When tested the coal bunker worked good. This bunker was made from 1938-1940. Click on the picture to enlarge for a better view.
